Franklin Township, July 1st
Celebrate Franklin Days on Friday, July 1st, at the Franklin Township Municipal Complex in Somerset. Bring a blanket or lawn chair and enjoy music, food, community, and family fun. The fireworks begin at 9:15 pm. The rain date is July 8th.
Flemington Fireworks, July 3rd
The Flemington, NJ fireworks display returns after a three-year hiatus. The display will be near the downtown area on Sunday, July 3rd at the Reading-Fleming Intermediate School on Court Street. The rain date is scheduled for July 5th.
Union Township, July 4th
The Township of Union and the Union Recreation Department present their annual 4th of July Spectacular at Biertuempful Park. A concert featuring Silver Arrow Band starts at 7:30 pm, followed by fireworks at 9:00 pm. Bring your lawn chairs and blankets and enjoy the music, food vendors, and fun. The rain date is July 5th.
Festival of Ballooning Fireworks Extravaganza July 29th
The fireworks fun continues even after Independence Day. New Jersey Lottery Festival of Ballooning will have a Fireworks Extravaganza on July 29th at 9:30 pm at Solberg Airport in Readington. The extravaganza is just part of the weekend-long festival packed with lots of fun for Senior Citizens to enjoy. The main sidewalks are paved and easily accessible for people with wheelchairs and walkers.
Bonus 4th of July Event
The oldest 4th of July Parade in Hunterdon County is hosted by Lebanon Borough. This year they are celebrating 75 years and going strong. It’s sure to be a big event! The parade starts at 10:00 am along Main Street, Myrtle Avenue, and Brunswick Avenue. Afterwards, there will be a picnic in Holjes-Sheppard Memorial Park. There are no fireworks at this event, but it’s sure to be fun for the whole family.
